Matthew McNeil is the humble owner of Landscape Nosara. His work in creating artistic landscapes and thoughtfully curated spaces stems from a genuine love for his craft. Raised among the flora of Costa Rica and a resident of Guiones since he was 11, Matt's deep connection with nature has fueled his passion for landscaping.

With over 15 years of experience, Matt's landscaping expertise extends across various countries. This includes running the successful McNeil Landscaping business in Virginia, USA. His academic pursuits have encompassed landscape architecture, tropical garden and landscape design, sustainability, and plant biodiversity.
​
Beyond landscaping, Matthew is an entrepreneurial spirit, co-owning Falafel Box in North Guiones with his wife Mariana, and is a devoted father to his daughter Leah.
​
In his earlier years, Matthew gained valuable experience working in his family's construction business, building houses in Playa Guiones. He has seen the transformation of this once quiet jungle town into its current state.

In his free time, Matthew finds joy in surfing, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, and cherishing moments with his family and friends, always appreciating the beauty of nature.
